Do I need to be a fencer to volunteer ?

Although numerous posts (around 50%) will be given to fencers because of the technical knowledge required (weapon checking, piste staff…) the other 50% will be available to non-fencers: medical posts, foreign languages, administration, logistics, catering, reception, security …

 

Do I need to live in the Paris region to be a volunteer ?

It is preferable to live in the Paris region because accommodation will not be provided for volunteers.

 

Do I need to be available for the whole of the Championships?

It would definitely be preferred, and it is certain that candidates who are more available will be given priority.

 

Can wheelchair users volunteer ?

Yes, their will be volunteer jobs reserved for wheelchair users.
